Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse in Attleboro, MA. The RN will work 12-hour nights on a 36-hour-per-week schedule, supporting patients before, during and after delivery.

Responsibilities include monitoring labor, assisting with epidurals and cesarean prep, and providing immediate newborn care. Requirements include ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN credentials with at least 3 years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and breathing techniques.
• Check cervix to monitor progression.
• Keep beds clean and dry; manage fluids and materials.
• Assist physician with deliveries and newborn care.
