Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Dallas, Texas.

The position requires 3 years of recent acute care experience, 13-week duration, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour night shifts. You will support mothers through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care, with responsibilities including monitoring, assisting physicians, and newborn care.

Qualifications

• BLS, AWHONN, NRP, ACLS required.
• 3 years’ recent acute care experience preferred for L&D travel roles.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor laboring patients and contractions.
• Assist physicians with procedures and delivery preparation.
• Provide immediate newborn care and post-delivery support.
• Support mother and family throughout labor and delivery process.
