Job summary
American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery in Georgia.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of L&D experience, active GA or Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification, and is willing to work night shifts on a 3x12 schedule. Travel experience is required; duties include monitoring both neonate and maternal patients, assisting with high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and postpartum care, while using Epic EMR and Pyxis for medication
Qualifications
- Active GA or Compact RN license required.
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
- AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work in a team-based Labor and Delivery unit.
- Care for neonates/infants and adults.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and postpartum care.
- Night shift 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- 3 weekend shifts required per contract.
- On-call 2 calls every 6 weeks.
- Use Epic EMR, Pyxis, and SBAR for communication.
- Provide comprehensive labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing care.
