Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Owasso, OK. This role requires 3 years of acute care experience and involves 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

The L&D RN will monitor labor, assist with procedures, and ensure newborn care, while handling the fast-paced birthing environment. Certifications ACLS, BLS, NRP, CPI are required or pursued.

Qualifications

• 3 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and CPI certifications required or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor and contractions and support patient breathing techniques.
• Assist physicians with procedures and newborn care.
• Aid in epidurals, cesarean prep, and delivery preparation.
• Maintain patient safety and clean, dry beds throughout shift.
