Job summary

TotalMed is seeking Labor and Delivery RNs for an immediate travel opportunity in Frankfort, KY. This 13-week assignment requires 3 years of acute care experience and features 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

As an L&D Travel Nurse you will care for mothers and newborns, assist physicians with epidurals and cesarean prep, and support families throughout the birthing process. Travel compensation includes a tax-free stipend.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assist physician during procedures and newborn care.
