Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Mayfield, Kentucky. This role requires 3 years of recent acute care experience and 36 hours per week across 12-hour night shifts.

The L&D RN will monitor labor, assist during delivery, and provide newborn care in a fast-paced setting. Travel staff receive competitive pay, tax-free stipends, and comprehensive benefits through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN, PALS required.
• Travel assignment for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week.
• Must be able to work 12-hour night shifts.
• RN licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
• Keep beds clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids.
• Immediate care of newborn.
