Job summary

Healthforce in Boston, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery on a 13-week travel assignment. Shifts are 12 hours, with weekly pay between $2,957 and $3,162 and guaranteed 36 hours per week.

You will provide direct care to laboring obstetric patients, monitor fetal status and maternal vitals, assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, and document in EPIC. Travel experience is required; BLS/NRP will be kept current; housing assistance and extension opportunities may

Qualifications

2+ years of Labor & Delivery RN experience with OR circulator experience.
EPIC experience.
Travel experience required.
BLS and NRP certifications; NRP course lessons completed and not expiring during the assignment.
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips independently; pass telemetry test Day 1 with 85%+.
Completion of Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course (preferably AWHONN).

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to laboring obstetric patients and postpartum mothers.
Monitor fetal status and maternal vitals; read and interpret telemetry strips.
Respond to obstetric emergencies, assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, and coordinate perioperative care.
Administer medications and support perioperative care as ordered; assist with postpartum recovery.
Document in the EPIC electronic health record; educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with obstetric physicians, anesthesia, and nursery teams to ensure safe, evidence-based care.
