Job summary
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California requiring a CA RN license, ACLS/ALS, Fetal Heart Monitoring, and NRP/NALS certifications. The role is in an acute care hospital with night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) and offers housing allowances, travel reimbursement, and benefits.
Responsibilities include delivering coordinated nursing care in L&D, collaborating with the care team, and participating in discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license required.
- BLS certification required.
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required.
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required.
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required.
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Labor and Delivery unit in an acute care hospital setting.
- Night shift schedule with 36 or 48 hour options, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
- EPIC experience highly preferred.
- Floating required to Delano as needed.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, humane, and caring treatment.
- Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning for continuity of care.
