Job summary
American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity Labor & Delivery/LDRP unit in California. This travel assignment requires 2+ years of L&D experience and current CA RN licensure, with BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN-Advanced certifications.
The unit features 10 L&D beds, 2 OR suites, 12 postpartum beds, and a high-volume 140–165 births per month. Expect 12-hour shifts, weekend rotation, on-call duties, and comprehensive traveler benefits including housing and licensure
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license required.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN-Advanced.
- STABLE certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years RN experience in L&D.
- Comfort circulating C-sections and LDRP care.
- Read and interpret EKG strips.
- Two supervisor references with dates.
- Driver's license copy for legal name validation.
Responsibilities
- Cover L&D, postpartum and OB care in a high-acuity unit.
- Monitor patients using GE Corometric fetal monitors and Fetalink.
- Titrate drips and manage Pitocin as directed.
- Circulate C-sections and support LDRP care start-to-finish.
- Read EKGs in PACU and respond to changes.
- Coordinate with OB hospitalist, neonatologist and anesthesia.
- Shift includes 12-hour days, weekend rotation, on-call.
