Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Charles City, IA. You’ll work 12-hour day shifts in a high-acuity obstetric setting, providing direct patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and excellent outcomes.

You’ll hold an active RN license, BLS, and NRP, with competitive pay and benefits. This travel role offers professional growth and companionship on a nationwide travel network.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Active BLS certification (AHA/ARC) and NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health and respond to obstetric emergencies.
• Administer medications and aid physician during labor and delivery.
• Prepare equipment and assist with cesarean sections and exams.
• Provide postpartum care and lactation support to families.
• Document care accurately and participate in quality improvement.
