Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing in Middlebury, VT is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 7-week assignment, 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night schedule. You will provide comprehensive obstetric care, including labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum support, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications with at least one year of L&D experience, and are prepared for a travel assignment with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• One year recent experience as Labor and Delivery RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• NRP Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing protocols.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor, delivery, and exams.
• Provide postpartum care for mother and newborn; assess and stabilize.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and team members.
