Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 7-week travel assignment in Akron, OH. You’ll provide obstetric nursing care, monitor maternal/fetal status, and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination.
• Provide immediate postpartum care, including mother and newborn stabilization.
• Educate patients on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Document care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
