Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Peoria, Illinois. The assignment runs 15 weeks with 36 hours per week, on a 12-hour night shift.

Start date is 09/28/2026. The RN will care for high-risk OB patients, manage magnesium and insulin drips, assist with cesarean sections in the OR, and provide neonatal care. Active IL license or initiation is required, with advanced EFM certification noted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Labor & Delivery (L&D) required.
• Proficient with high-risk OB patient management.
• Must circulate cesarean sections in OR and recover in PACU.
• Able to titrate Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin drips.
• Certified in AWHONN EFM; IL licensure in progress if not active.

Responsibilities

• Provide L&D nursing care for high-risk obstetric patients.
• Caring for both vaginal and cesarean delivery patients and newborn care.
• Titrate drips and monitor patient vitals throughout shifts.

**Required Experience and Skills:**- Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D).- RNs must be proficient in care of the high-risk OB patient.- Must be able to care for Magnesium drips and Insulin Drips.- Must be able to circulate a cesarean section in OR and recover patient in PACU.- Must be proficient in baby care at both vaginal and cesarean delivery.- RNs required to titrate drips: Yes (Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin).**Required Certifications:**- Basic Life Support (BLS)- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)- Must have completed advanced AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) class**Licensure:**- Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated**Additional Notes:**- RNs must have advanced AWHONN electronic fetal monitoring certification.
