Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Ohio. This 16-week assignment requires a 12-hour night shift with 36 hours per week. Eligible candidates have 3 years of recent acute care experience.

As an L&D travel nurse, you will support patients before, during, and after delivery, assist with epidurals or cesarean prep, and provide immediate newborn care. Requirements include BLS, NRP, and possibly additional certifications before starting.

Qualifications

• 3 years of acute care experience.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; additional certifications may be required before starting an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assist physicians during epidurals or other interventions and cesarean prep when needed.
• Immediate care of newborn after delivery.
