Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Canton, Ohio. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts. The right candidate has 3 years of recent acute care experience and relevant certifications.

As an L&D Travel Nurse, you will monitor and support patients before, during and after delivery, assist physicians with procedures, and provide immediate newborn care in a fast-paced setting. Travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' recent acute care RN experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications required; additional certifications may be required.
• Travel assignment with 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week and 13-week duration.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and breathing techniques.
• Check cervix progression and dilation.
• Assist with delivery instruments and patient preparation.
• Provide immediate care to newborn.
• Support physician during epidurals and cesarean preparations.
