Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Omaha, NE. The RN will provide comprehensive obstetric care, monitor maternal and fetal status, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe labor and delivery and postpartum care.
Requirements include 1 year of L&D experience, active RN license, BLS, and NRP certification; preferred certifications include AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, STABLE, and ACLS.
Qualifications
- One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN required.
- Active RN license in good standing with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
- NRP certification required.
- Preferred: AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, STABLE and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Assess maternal and fetal health and provide appropriate care during labor and delivery.
- Administer medications and support care during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and nursing staff.
- Monitor, document, and respond to obstetric emergencies per protocols.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn management.
