Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Frederick, MD. This 13-week assignment offers a 36-hour work week with 12-hour night shifts and competitive pay, along with comprehensive benefits.

The Labor & Delivery RN will assess maternal and fetal health, administer treatments, and collaborate with obstetric teams to ensure safe labor, delivery, and postpartum care, while maintaining high standards of patient safety.

Qualifications

• One year recent experience as Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license per state requirements.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health during labor and postpartum.
• Administer medications and treatments per obstetric protocol.
• Assist during labor, delivery, and cesarean sections as needed.
• Provide postpartum education and newborn care.
• Document care and coordinate with obstetric team.
