MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Frederick, Maryland. This 13-week contract requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, starting 10/21/2026, providing patient-centered perinatal care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages.

The role requires an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS alongside AWHONN certifications, plus 18 months of L&D experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• A nursing degree from an accredited program is required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN certifications are required.
• At least 18 months of recent acute care L&D experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for women before, during, and after delivery.
• Monitor maternal and neonatal vital signs and assess for high-risk issues.
• Educate and support mothers and families throughout the perinatal period.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe birthing process.
