Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Nurse RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Lakin, KS. The role requires 36 hours weekly on 12-hour nights, with ASAP start and travel employment status.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with BLS and NRP, have 1 year of L&D experience, and are prepared to meet state regulations and facility policies while delivering high-quality obstetric care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and BLS/NRP certifications required.
• Minimum one year recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts on a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery care for patients during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and assist with procedures per obstetric nursing standards.
• Monitor fetal status and maternal wellbeing, document care in medical records.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and care teams.
• Educate families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding and newborn care.
