Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery travel assignment in Liberal, KS. The start date is Nov 1, 2026, for 13 weeks, with nights 7p-7a and weekly pay of $2,171–$2,282. This travel role offers hospital-based, short-term assignment opportunities across the United States.

The RN will provide care in labor and delivery, postpartum, newborn nursery, and OB post-operative units, monitor labor, administer medications, and support families throughout care transitions.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience.
• Ability to work nights (7p-7a) and travel; must be 45+ miles from site; mileage documented.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN care in labor and delivery, postpartum, couplet care, newborn nursery, and OB post-operative units.
• Monitor labor progression and fetal status, perform assessments, admin medications, document findings.
• Support maternal and newborn stabilization, postpartum care, newborn care, breastfeeding support, and family education.
• Collaborate with obstetric teams to coordinate care and maintain infection control and quality standards.
• Respond to clinical changes and emergencies per pathway protocols; assist with post-operative care.
