Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 4-week assignment in Mobile, AL. You will support physicians, prepare patients, operate imaging modalities, and maintain sterile technique in a high-acuity environment.

This travel role offers a competitive pay package and full support from a dedicated clinical team. The position requires 1 year of IR tech experience, ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS (AHA/ARC).

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures and passing instruments.
• Monitor vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and restock supplies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to ensure patient care.
