Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Elkhart, IN. The IR tech will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and assist with sterile procedures in a fast-paced lab.

The role requires 1 year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS. Preferred ACLS or additional licensure may apply; travel benefits and competitive pay are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures (fluoroscopy/CT/ultrasound).
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, maintain sterile field.
• Monitor patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
• Troubleshoot and maintain imaging equipment; restock supplies.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and team members for patient care.
