Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to work in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves performing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures and supporting IR team in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The position requires a current license, appropriate certifications, and 18 months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience; travel benefits include weekly pay, housing support, and credentialing coverage.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department by offering technical assistance to the IR team.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images per physician specifications.
• Assist the physician with procedures by monitoring, passing instruments, observing patient response, maintaining sterile field.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment focused on patient care and timely service.
