Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Interventional Radiographer to perform a variety of specialized radiographic procedures in Columbus, Ohio. The role entails 13 weeks of travel with a 40-hour work week and 4x10-hour shifts, delivering high-quality interventional imaging and patient care.

The position requires proven IR radiography experience, independent decision-making, and strong communication with staff and physicians. A comprehensive benefits package and licensing reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems (McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak).
• Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification.
• Assist supervisor in maintaining adequate level of supplies.
• Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
• Assist radiologists in performing exams providing clinical excellence.
