Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Fullerton, CA. The IR tech will support physicians in minimally invasive procedures using advanced imaging, ensuring patient safety and efficiency in a high-acuity environment.

The role requires 1 year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR tech).
• Active ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS and/or PALS/ENPC certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and pass instruments.
• Monitor patient vitals and procedure details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and restock supplies.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and team to ensure patient care.
