Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Washington, DC. This role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and travel reimbursement.

Start date 09/21/2026 and responsibilities include patient prep, imaging guidance with fluoroscopy, and assisting physicians during procedures. The ideal candidate will have 1 year IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/ENPC or state licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS and PALS/ENPC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures with emphasis on safety.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians during sterile procedures and maintain a sterile field.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
