Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Concord, California. The IR tech will support physicians during minimally invasive procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities, with a focus on patient safety and efficient imaging workflows.

Requirements include one year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification per state regulations, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS or RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
