Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Chico, California. This role offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and the chance to work with a dedicated clinical team in a fast-paced environment.

The IR Tech will assist physicians, operate imaging modalities, and ensure patient safety, with full benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and maintain a sterile field.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Ensure proper radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless patient care.
