Job summary

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Burlingame, California. The IR Tech will operate fluoroscopic equipment, assist physicians in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, and ensure patient safety throughout the case.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of acute care experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) certification; vascular interventional certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification required; state licensing as needed.
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians in image-guided procedures.
• Prepare and monitor patients during procedures and report abnormal findings.
• Verify patient identity, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients.
• Maintain patient records and demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards.
• Operate IV/dye injector pumps and use McKesson PACS system.
