Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with neuro interventional and thrombectomy experience for a cardiac interventional radiology unit.

The role requires AHA BLS, applicable licensure, and extensive C-arm expertise in orthopedic and neuro cases, with neuro interventional (stroke) and thrombectomy/embolization experience. Shifts are 4x10-hour days; on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

AHA BLS certification is required.
License as applicable.
Extensive C-arm experience in orthopedic and neuro cases is required.
Neuro interventional (stroke) skills are required.
Experience with PE thrombectomy/lysis is required.
Experience with trauma bleed embolization is required.

Responsibilities

Interventional Radiology department responsibilities.
Work 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a rotating day off.
On-call every 3rd weekend and about 8 days per month during the week.
Candidates must reside 100+ miles from the facility's service area (locals not accepted).
General orientation starts on Mondays with online CBL modules.
Facial hair must be trimmed/removed to meet CDC fit testing guidelines.
Relias EKG testing within 72 hours of signing, with up to two attempts allowed.
