Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Marquette, MI. You will support interventional procedures, operate imaging equipment, and collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

The role requires one year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS. Preferred qualifications include ACLS, a radiologic technologist license, and PALS/ENPC.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to guide procedures
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
• Ensure proper radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring readiness for procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless patient care
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols
• Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures
