Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Sterling, VA. This role involves preparing patients, operating fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities, and supporting complex vascular and non-vascular procedures in a fast-paced lab.

Requirements include 1 year IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS. ACLS and PALS/ENPC are preferred. Benefits and competitive pay are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Certification through ARRT or RCIS/RCES as required by state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Radiologic Technologist license in accordance with state regulations.
• PALS or ENPC certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and pass instruments.
• Monitor patient vitals and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain radiation safety for patient and staff.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and ensure readiness.
• Restock supplies and manage equipment and supplies.
