Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring ACLS, BLS, and at least one prior travel assignment. Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital; perform vascular studies and procedures including angioplasty and central venous access/port placement.

Day shift from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 36 hours per week with weekly on-call obligations. Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact or MD) required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent IR experience within last 7 years.
• At least one completed travel assignment required.
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Flu vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a hospital setting.
• Performs vascular studies and procedures including angioplasty and central venous access/port placement.
• Day shift schedule of 4x9.5 hours, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday with one rotating day off.
• 36 hours per week with call required every 5th week.
• Provide direct patient care during interventional radiology procedures.
• Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower rate.
• Candidates with prior employment at this health system must have a minimum one-year separation before returning as a traveler.
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment.
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract.
• Manager interviews are not guaranteed.
