Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with a BSN and NJ or compact license for a 10-week day shift assignment with weekend rotation. The role requires RN licensure, BSN, and ARRT within a fast-paced IR unit.

Requirements include BLS/ACLS/PALS, 1 year IR experience, CT/MRI familiarity, and a passing Basic Arrhythmia Exam with high EKG proficiency. Vaccination proof and Nursys verification are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active NJ or compact RN license in hand.
• BSN required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• At least 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required.
• CT and MRI experience preferred, with unit-based training provided to qualified candidates.
• Must pass a Basic Arrhythmia Exam with a minimum score of 80%, proficient in EKG rhythm interpretation, heart rate calculations, and rhythm/block identification.
• Current Nursys verification required.
• One supervisory/manager reference dated within one year of assignment start required.
• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series and booster required.

Responsibilities

• Work within the Interventional Radiology department covering multiple Radiology sites.
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:30 to 19:00.
• Weekend rotation required.
• Float pool assignees must float to the Ridgewood Observation Unit as needed.
• Perform multiple duties supporting Interventional Radiology procedures across department sites.
• Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment.
• Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at the local rate.
• Candidates who have worked in New Jersey within the past 7 years must provide verifiable employer details for each NJ employer.
