Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a fast-paced IR unit requiring 2+ years of IR scrub experience and Siemens Systems proficiency.

The position features a 4x10 hour day shift from Monday to Friday with on-call duties and possible travel to the Cambridge IR unit. Prior IR and large hospital experience are strongly preferred; new graduates are not accepted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of IR experience with scrub experience required.
• Experience with Siemens Systems required.
• 3+ years of IR and large hospital experience preferred, along with peripheral and neurovascular experience preferred.
• New graduates not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit with a high patient volume; handles all lines for the hospital and outpatient services.
• Operates 7 rooms and manages cases neck-down with light neuro overflow such as thyroid biopsies.
• Uses Siemens Systems including Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee (single-plane).
• Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule, Monday through Friday with rotating day off; on-call as needed.
• No weekend requirement except on-call duties; may float to Cambridge IR unit.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of IR experience with scrub experience required
• Experience with Siemens Systems required
• 3+ years of IR and large hospital experience preferred, along with peripheral and neurovascular experience preferred
• New graduates not accepted
• ARRT Radiography certification required in hand
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license required (can apply once offered; may start with license pending), license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit with a siloed setup and high patient volume of 60-65 cases per day
• Handles all lines for the entire hospital, including outpatient services
• Operates 7 rooms and manages cases neck-down with some light neuro overflow such as thyroid biopsies
• Uses Siemens Systems including Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee (single-plane, no biplane functionality)
• Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off
• On-call required as needed
• No weekend requirement except for on-call duties
• May float to the Cambridge IR unit
• Smoke-free facility
• Credentials due one week prior to Monday start dates
• Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate, except for the Great Bend campus which has a 60-mile radius requirement
