American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience for a cardiac and interventional radiology unit. You will perform a wide range of IR procedures and support a high-volume cath lab.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology required.
• ARRT and BLS certifications required; ACLS also required.
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• License required if applicable.
• 2 professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; coworker references not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit setting.
• Performs a wide range of IR procedures including vascular, genitourinary, and neurological studies.
• Cardiac cath lab procedures including PTCA.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off.
• Call requirements include one primary and one backup weekday per month, plus one weekend every 6 weeks alternating between primary and backup.
• Uses Siemens imaging equipment and PACS system.
• EPIC charting system experience preferred.
• Perform interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology required
• ARRT and BLS certifications required; ACLS also required
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Proficient with Siemens equipment
• Skilled in venous access, central line care, angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and related IR procedures
• Experience with vascular, genitourinary, and neurological IR studies preferred
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; charge RN acceptable for the second reference; coworker references not accepted
