Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for Cardiac IR requiring CRT, ARRT rad fluoro permit, and 2+ years of concurrent specialty experience.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit specializing in cardiac procedures
• Neuro and vascular cases, including scrub and circulate duties
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call required approximately 10 times per month, including 1 primary shift weekly and 1 secondary shift with a weekend rotation covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Current AHA BLS certification
• CRT and ARRT rad fluoro permit required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of concurrent experience in Interventional Radiology specialty
• 1.5 years continuous experience in specialty without breaks, unless floating or meeting equivalent ratio experience
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience required within the last 6 months
• Travel experience required, including 1 year total and 6+ months continuous leading up to submission
• Neuro and vascular scrub and circulate skills required

Additional Information

• Perform scrub and circulate duties for neuro and vascular interventional radiology procedures
• ICU, SDU, and Tele RNs required to float at or below skillset, potentially to another campus or location depending on needs; float requirements may vary for other units
• Interview availability required, including same-day and next 3 business days preferred, with time zone specified
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Returning staff and travelers eligible to reapply after 1 year
• Maximum RTO of 7 days, with no additional requests after submission
• Not open to local candidates within 100 miles, except for LVNs/MAs; candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months are considered local and ineligible
