American Traveler is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Johnson City, TN. The role focuses on neuro interventional and thrombectomy procedures in a cardiac interventional radiology unit, with 4x10 hour day shifts and on-call requirements.

Qualified candidates will have current AHA BLS, C-arm proficiency in orthopedic and neuro cases, and experience with thrombectomy/lysis and trauma embolization.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate C-arm imaging equipment during procedures
• Provide patient care and assist physicians during interventions
• Maintain sterile technique and document procedures as required
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts with rotating day off and on-call duties every 3rd weekend

Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with neuro interventional and thrombectomy experience for a cardiac interventional radiology unit.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department
• 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a rotating day off
• On-call required every 3rd weekend plus roughly 8 days per month during the week

Requirements

• Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA certification is the only accepted form)
• License required if applicable
• Thorough C-arm experience in orthopedic and neuro cases required
• Neuro interventional (stroke) skills required
• Experience with PE thrombectomy/lysis required
• Experience with trauma bleed embolization required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside 100+ miles from the facility's service area (locals not accepted)
• General orientation begins on Mondays with online CBL modules
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC fit testing guidelines
• Relias EKG testing required within 72 hours of signing, with up to two attempts allowed
