MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Florence, South Carolina. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, supporting IR physicians, and maintaining patient records in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The position requires current licensure, relevant certifications, and 18+ months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience, preferably in critical care.

Qualifications

• Current License in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department through technical assistance to the IR team.
• Performs diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operates conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images per physician specifications.
• Assists the physician with diagnostic/interventional procedures by monitoring, passing instruments, observing patient response, maintaining sterile field, and evaluating data.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintains an environment focused on timely, compassionate, high-quality patient care.
• Prepares and updates patient records accurately and legibly.
