Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Florence, SC. The IR tech will assist with imaging-guided procedures, prepare patients, and ensure safety and quality care in a fast-paced lab.

The role requires 1 year IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS. ACLS/PALS ENPC are preferred; licensure in Radiologic Technology is a plus. Travel pay bonuses and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS certification (preferred).
• PALS or ENPC certification (preferred).
• Radiologic Technologist license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound guidance during procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and pass instruments.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and restock supplies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure patient care.
