Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Stamford, CT. The IR tech will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and support the interventional team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include one year of IR tech experience, ARRT or RCIS/RCES, and current BLS. Preferred ACLS, Radiologic Technologist license, and PALS/ENPC. Travel compensation, benefits, and dedicated support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year's recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures, pass instruments, and maintain a sterile field.
• Monitor vital signs and document procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nurses to provide patient care.
