Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR tech) for a 13-week travel assignment in Bridgeport, CT. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, operating imaging modalities, and supporting interventional procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Current ARRT, RCIS/RCES certification per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound).
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in, passing instruments, maintaining sterile field.
• Monitor vital signs and procedural details; document accordingly.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and self.
