Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Boston, MA. The IR tech will support physicians in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, prepare patients, and ensure safety in a fast-paced interventional lab environment.

Requirements include one year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS. ACLS and radiology licensure are preferred; benefits and travel support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures and passing instruments.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
