Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience and a strong preference for neurointerventional expertise. The role covers multiple campus locations with day shifts and an on-call rotation, and requires ARRT R and BLS certification plus travel experience.

You will perform complex vascular, abdominal, pelvic, neurological, and genitourinary procedures, participate in on-site drug screening, and adhere to strict pre-arrival and eligibility rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology required.
• Neurointerventional experience strongly preferred.
• ARRT R and BLS certification required; ARRT VI preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• Prior travel experience required.
• Altera charting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Covers Hendrick Main campus and Hendrick South locations.
• 5x8 hour day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• On-call rotation every 6th week; weekdays 1645-0730 and weekends 0700-0700.
• Performs vascular studies and procedures including carotid stenting, dialysis graft creation/revision and interventions, EVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and TIPS.
• Performs abdominal and pelvic procedures including embolization, gastrostomy tube placement, IVC filter placement, liver biopsy, and stent placement.
• Performs neurological studies and procedures including embolization, stent placement, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy.
• Performs genitourinary procedures including nephrostomy.
• Onsite drug screening; positive results cancel; avoid CBD products prior to arrival.
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer or a plan must be in place.
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position.
• Radius requirement of 50 miles; prior perm staff must be separated for 1 year before traveling.
• Hard document due date is Thursday at 2:00 PM CST prior to start.
