Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac IR unit in San Diego. The role requires 2+ years of concurrent specialty experience, ARRT rad fluoro certification, and travel readiness. On-site, 4x10 shifts, with on-call duties and EPIC EMR use.

Qualifications include BLS, CRT, ARRT fluoro permit, and applicable licensure. This travel assignment offers housing support and per diem as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Current AHA BLS certification.
• CRT certification required.
• ARRT rad fluoro permit required.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of concurrent experience in the specialty.
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months.
• Skills checklist demonstrating neuro and vascular scrub and circulate competency required.
• Prior travel experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology department with a focus on neuro and vascular cases.
• Scrub and circulate duties for neuro and vascular procedures.
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:30 PM.
• On-call requirement of approximately 10 calls per month, including 1 primary and 1 secondary weekly, with one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per rotation.
• Uses EPIC EMR.
• Perform scrub and circulate duties for neuro and vascular interventional radiology procedures.
• Interview availability required, including same-day or within 3 business days when possible.
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role.
• Returning staff and travelers eligible to reapply after 1 year.
• Maximum RTO of 7 days, with no additional requests after submission.
• Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible, except LVNs/MAs.
• Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or longer are considered local and are not eligible.
