Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR tech) for a 12-week travel assignment in Columbus, Georgia. The role involves assisting physicians in performing minimally invasive procedures using advanced imaging technology in a fast-paced environment. Required qualifications include a valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification, BLS certification, and at least one year of relevant experience. Qualifications
One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Responsibilities
Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures.
Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures.
Monitor and document patient vital signs.
Administer contrast media and monitor for reactions.
