Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for an assignment in Lithonia, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have recent experience, ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS certification. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring safety measures during procedures. Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and maintain a sterile field.
• Monitor patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure proper radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self.
• Manage and restock procedural supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to provide seamless patient care.
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols.
• Educate patients before, during, and after procedures.
