Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for an assignment in Lithonia, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have recent experience, ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification, and current BLS certification. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring safety measures during procedures. Qualifications
One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Responsibilities
Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Operate imaging equipment to guide procedures.
Scrub in for sterile procedures and maintain a sterile field.
Monitor patient vital signs and procedural details.
Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
Ensure proper radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self.
Manage and restock procedural supplies.
Collaborate with team members to provide seamless patient care.
Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols.
Educate patients before, during, and after procedures.
