Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR tech) for a 26-week travel assignment in Farmington, CT. As a member of our team, you'll support complex vascular and non-vascular procedures with advanced imaging technology, preparing patients and equipment for safe, efficient care.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.
• Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification as per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for IR procedures.
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment to guide procedures.
• Scrub in for sterile procedures and pass instruments.
• Monitor vital signs and procedure details.
• Administer contrast media and manage adverse reactions.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and team members.
