Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in New London, CT. This role requires one year of IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification, and BLS, with ACLS/PALS as preferred credentials.

You'll work 40 hours per week, days shift, at a facility in New London, supporting interventional radiology procedures and patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Valid ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification in compliance with state regulations
• Preferred ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Valid Radiologic Technologist license in state compliance
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures and passing instruments
• Monitor and document vital signs and procedural details
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure readiness for procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless patient care
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols
