Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Bowling Green, KY. You will support physicians in minimally invasive procedures, operate fluoroscopic imaging, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1 year IR tech experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES, and current BLS. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and a dedicated clinical team accompany this travel opportunity.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to guide procedures.
• Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Ensure proper radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring readiness for procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless patient care.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols.
• Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures.
